Storage, Compression, Dispensing and Distribution Cost

This webpage works through the evaluation of hydrogen costs other than the direct cost of producing the hydrogen. These costs include the cost of compressing hydrogen which depends on how much you need to compress the hydrogen. The cost also includes the cost of storing the hydrogen which depends on how long you want to store the hydrogen. A third component is dispensing the hydrogen which depends on how fast you want to put the hydrogen into the ultimate use. Finally, the cost of the hydrogen depends on how far you have to move the hydrogen. The evaluation of the cost of storage crucially must differentiate whether the storage is directly for electricity where hydrogen is created and the re-converted to electricity. This is different from hydrogen that is used directly for Ammonia or for other end-uses.
